Nosferatu (2024)

Lingers in the mind like the shadows creeping across the dim candle-lit backdrops. At once a harrowing nightmare and a prolonged experiment with the perverted nature of human eroticism. Both are sure to leave an impression, and both are swelled in Lily-Rose Depp’s speechless performance. The visuals are haunting and holy fuck the sound design is thunderous. It’s definitely terrifying but I’d be remiss if I didn’t say I wasn’t entirely sold on Skarsgård‘s Orlok. But then again, Thomas’ fear of him alone is so palpable that the mere whispers of his presence are more than enough to send a harrowing chill down your spine.
